Mission What?

A crash, like that of a window breaking, woke me with a start. I quickly got up and I grab something to defend myself. Then move the door that is closed ‘Boom’ I go flying back into my bed hitting my head on my wall and then hear a very quiet bang and a slight pain in my arm I look over and see a dart and then I start to pass out turn my head forward and saw in front of me three figures. Glare of light I can see barely with something covering my face and then I get hit in the face and hear someone talking different language that is in a tense voice like I did something very bad.
“Take it off!” said a man in English.
Someone takes a cover off my head and then I see fully equipment soldiers standing right in front of me with a man in the suit.
“Your new name that you will be going by now is agent 01” Said the man in the suit.
“What the where am I, what did you do to me… Why am I hear” Said me.
“You’re here right now because you were chosen to go under cover for me and the USA government you are now a Assassin” said a man is not in the room.
Something telling me to say something but I’m so confused that I don’t know what to do.
“ Your mission is to kill Osama bin Laden one of the most deadly men on earth right now” said another man in a suit.

Papa Parrot

Just image that your papa owned a store and when you got older you stopped going to see him at work. Well that’s what Harry did to his father he drove him to the point that he missed him so much Papa got a parrot. Cythia Rylant wrote “Papa’s Parrot”, which is a short story with a comedy plotline that shows that your parents do care about you.

First off it starts off at normal life with Harry visiting his father with his friends every day. When the conflict arises, which is when Harry gets older, he never comes to see his dad after school, because he has other things to do. Then Harry’s father buys a parrot to talk to so he isn’t as lonely at work, and Harry walks by and sees the his dad talking to the parrot and thinks his father gone mad, as the main character realizing the conflict. Then the resolution is that Harry’s father gets hurt and can’t support his shop so he asks Harry to clean up the shop. That’s when the parrot says “where’s Harry”. After that, Harry he goes back to papa which is the return to normal life. Although the plotline is comedy it doesn’t feel like it because his father gets hurt and the bird says, “where’s Harry”, so it sounds sad.

The Purpose of this story is that even if you don’t visit your father at work, then see him later he will still miss you, because he used to see you come every day to motivate himself. If you compare this with my life, I don’t always get to see my mom because when she works I’m sleeping and when she wakes up I’m at school so I’m sure she misses me. This is a normal thing that happens when you get older; there is less time seeing your parents.

Finally the plotline of “Papa Parrot” is comedy and ends in a happy ending. This short Story shows that your parents do care about you and won’t never stop.
