The story of an hour

The moment of destiny is Mrs. Mallard's heart attack. This short story was written by Kate Chopin, about a wife that is told that loses her husband, but she thinks wrong. “The story of an hour” has symbolism and a plotline which is a Tragedy.

Kate Chopin used a lot of symbolism for this short story. As Mrs. M finds that her loved husband is dead gone forever is world in conflict for her. She sits in a chair while sparrow’s fly around and birds sing a song as some strong symbolism that makes her very depressed. Symbolism is used a lot in this story; she whispers chants to die so then she can see her loved husband. But she see's her loved husband that walks through the door which is then rise to power because her husband isn't dead. Then the tragic fall happens right after that she has a heart attack, which is now ends in death.

"The story in an hour" is a short story showing symbolism and the wife’s dead husband which is truely not dead that then leads to her death. This story is about a wife that loses her husband for about a day and then her destiny meets at an end when her husband walks through the door and has a heart attack.
